The privacy notice explains how Bogle Insurance collects, uses, discloses, retains and secures personal data as part of its business practices.

What personal data does Bogle Insurance collect?

Bogle Insurance collects various personal data which may include the following (this list is not exhaustive):

• telephone number
• email address

How do we use the data provided?

We will use your personally identifiable information to, among other things, serve you better, process your enquiry or application for each product or service together, and respond to your enquiries regarding Bogle Insurance. We may also use this information to inform you of any changes to our product and service offerings and pricing structures.
The information that we collect and retain is used to create an accurate view of each individual, valued customer. In many cases the information we collect helps us to customize a product or service to meet our customer's individual needs.
Customer information is also retained for historical and legal reasons.

When does Bogle Insurance disclose personal data?

Bogle Insurance may disclose personal data in the following circumstances (this list is not exhaustive):
• if Bogle Insurance uses a third-party service provider for IT application manager, marketing, marketing research or client relationship management
• if a data subject requests that personal data be disclosed to a third party
• to a third parties that Bogle Insurance brokers for or represents for insurance
• if there is a legal request or criminal investigation
• if it is required to seek legal advice from Bogle Insurance legal counsel
• any other circumstance where it may be required by law
Bogle will not sell or trade customer information with any other organization outside of Bogle.
Customer email information will not be sold or given to an email subscription or marketing organization outside Bogle.

International transfer of personal data

Personal data is stored in the Cayman Islands unless it is transferred to another country for contractual purposes. If at any time Bogle Insurance transfers personal data outside the Cayman Islands, it will ensure that there are adequate safeguards for the rights and freedoms of data subjects as required by the DPL unless a customer has consented to the transfer or it is necessary for the performance of the annuity and assurance contract.

How long does Bogle Insurance retain personal data?

Bogle Insurance retains personal data for as long as a relationship exists, and the personal data is necessary to manage that relationship. When there is no longer a relationship, Bogle Insurance will retain certain types of personal data for varying periods depending on legal requirements and business needs. Personal data that is no longer needed will be destroyed. Bogle Insurance will always hold personal data for the least amount of time necessary in accordance with its retention policy.

How does Bogle Insurance secure personal data?

Bogle Insurance employs appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect against unauthorized processing, accidental loss or destruction of, or damage to, personal data in accordance with its Information Technology policies.

What rights do individuals have in respect to personal data?

Individuals have a right to be informed how personal data is processed and this privacy notice fulfills Bogle Insurance obligation in that respect.
Individuals have a right to request access to their personal data, the right to request rectification/correction of personal data, the right to request that processing of personal data be stopped or restricted and the right to require Bogle Insurance to cease processing personal data for direct marketing purposes.
